Note: this sample extract dates from 1998: some of the plans may have changed since then.

This sample from our database is to give an idea of the sort of information available concerning airports world-wide with an actual or planned rail link - over 300 of them. The basic listing gives brief details, including (separately) the funding method and the fare charged - but more information is available to members on request.

	Ancona (Raffaello Sanzio Di Falconara) Across the road from Castelferretti station, on the line from Falconara to Foligno.
	Barcelona (El Prat Airport) Served by a branch from the Barcelona suburban rail network, with half hourly cross-city trains. A long walk between station and terminals. Orbital metro under construction: station on Lleida - French border high speed line planned.
	Canberra (Canberra Airport) Airport to be on the first line of the planned light rail network. At one time there were plans for a Sydney - Canberra high speed line: the airport authority want this to serve the airport and are designing Terminal 2 to accommodate a station. This supports their plans to become Sydneys second airport.
	Exeter (Exeter And Devon Airport) Airport is near South Western Main Line: local development may stimulate construction of a station to serve it and the airport.
	Friedrichshafen (Friedrichshafen Airport) Hourly local trains.
	Kobe (Kobe) Automated tranist system to Shimin-hiroba opened February 2006
	Lille (Lesquin airport) TGV station under study.
	Payerne (Payerne) On a possible route of the projected Swissmetro project.
	Santa Cruz De Tenerife (Tenerife Reina Sofia) Regional rail connection approved by Tenerife Council 27/4/07
	Valencia (Valencia) Regional trains every 30 minutes. Metro trains on lines 3 and 5 each every 15 minutes.
