Note: this sample extract dates from 1998: some of the plans may have changed since then.

This sample from our database is to give an idea of the sort of information available concerning airports world-wide with an actual or planned rail link - over 300 of them. The basic listing gives brief details, including (separately) the funding method and the fare charged - but more information is available to members on request.

	Doha (Doha) Metro light rail system planned
	Hahn (Hahn Airport) Airport Authority plans passenger and freight services from Frankfurt over DB and privately owned tracks.
	Honolulu (Honolulu Airport) Plans for DBO guided transit system being evaluated.
	Izmir (Izmir Airport) Commuter rail link to centre.
	Kaohsiung (Kaohsiung) On Red Line of the metro, opened 9/3/08.
	Las Vegas (Ivanpah) New airport, possibley to replace McCarran, 50 km south-west of Las Vegas. Rail link under consideration.
	London (Gatwick Airport) Wide range of inter city regional and suburban trains serve a station at the airport rebuilt in 1980. Trains serve a variety of London termini: some have an all-night service. Gatwick Express is a dedicated quarter-hourly inter city service from Victoria: Thameslink and Connex are suburban operators. In-town check-in for BA and partners 1962 - 2002: for American Airlines until 2001.
	St. Louis (Mid-America Airport) There are controversial plans for an extension of the St. Louis metro to the airport.
	Tehran (Mehrabad) On planned line 4 of Metro
	Trâblous (Tripoli) (Trâblous Qleiaat) Government proposal to re-open link from Tripoli to the Syrian border via the proposed airport.
