Note: this sample extract dates from 1998: some of the plans may have changed since then.

This sample from our database is to give an idea of the sort of information available concerning airports world-wide with an actual or planned rail link - over 300 of them. The basic listing gives brief details, including (separately) the funding method and the fare charged - but more information is available to members on request.

	Ashford (Lydd - London Ashford Airport) Feasibility study commissioned into upgrading existing freight line (to Dungeness Power Station) to Ashford then on to London.
	Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs) The airport is on one of the routes being studied for a future rapid transit system.
	Minna (Minna) General - proposed airport city will have rail connections in all directions
	Recife (Recife) On a planned metro extension.
	San Luis Potosi (San Luis Potosi, Ponciano Arriaga) To be on a new 2-line suburban railway created by the relocation of a marshalling yard.
	Sevilla (Sevilla San Pablo) Possible future extension to projected LRT. High speed line Sevilla - Malaga likely to serve airport.
	Spokane (Spokane) Proposed extension to planned light rail system.
	Tel Aviv (Tel Aviv Yafo Sde Dov) On the route of the proposed Green Line of the Light Rail system.
	Warszawa (Okecie) There is a freight line into the airport. Design and construct contract for new terminal including train station awarded 7/02. Line to be completed 2007/2008.
	Wuhan (Wuhan Tianhe) Airport to become Chinas 4th international airport. Planning for high-speed link and subway connection to the city to start before 2010.
